About the Job
We are looking for a Billing Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the billing operations of our fast-growing SaaS company. This role involves managing the billing team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining financial records. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Billing Operations:
  • Manage the end-to-end billing process, including invoice preparation, distribution, and follow-up.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all billing activities.
  • Monitor and manage the billing team to meet departmental goals and objectives.
Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise billing staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and support.
  • Set clear team goals and deadlines.
Financial Record Maintenance:
  • Maintain accurate records of billing, collections, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
Customer Interaction:
  • Address customer inquiries and disputes regarding invoices.
  • Resolve billing issues and discrepancies promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Develop and implement billing policies and procedures.
  • Utilize software and tools to automate and streamline billing processes.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for management review.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in billing regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Several years of experience in billing, finance, or accounting, with a proven track record of managing a team.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Quickbooks and Stripe.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Compensation:
  • Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000
